3D Design
See it before you sample it.
3D renders that turn your tech pack into a visual you can review, share, and revise, before a single physical sample gets cut.
How I help
Specialists do the work. I make it land.
3D renders are one of the highest-leverage tools in modern fashion development. They let you review fit, fabric drape, and silhouette in days instead of weeks — and catch issues before they cost you a sample run.
Most of my 3D work is facilitated through trusted Clo3D specialists I've worked with before. I coordinate the project, prep the tech pack, and translate between you and the designer so the output actually helps your factory.
3D Render Coordination
I work with you to define what the render needs to show — fit, fabric, color, technical detail — then coordinate with a Clo3D specialist who delivers the work to spec.
Includes
- Project scoping and brief.
- Clo3D specialist coordination.
- Spec delivery and revision rounds.
- Final render review.
Tech Pack Translation
3D renders are only as good as the tech pack they're built from. I prep the technical input so the render comes back accurate and usable.
Includes
- Tech pack readiness check.
- Spec and measurement alignment.
- Material and trim translation.
- Render-versus-spec review.
Factory Communication
A finished render becomes a powerful tool for factory conversations: fewer ambiguous comment sheets, faster sample approvals, clearer feedback in both directions.
Includes
- Comment sheets and visual specs.
- Sample approval acceleration.
- Cross-team alignment.
- Buyer presentations and pre-sample previews.
When 3D Fits
Not every project needs 3D. Here's when the render pass earns its keep, and pays back in time, money, or both.
Includes
- You're sampling internationally and want to reduce sample-to-sample cost.
- Your factory is requesting clearer visual specs.
- You're presenting to a wholesale buyer before production samples are ready.
- You want to test a colorway or fabric-weight change before committing to physical revisions.
- You're building a collection lookbook and don't yet have production samples to photograph.
Render is information.
The cheapest revision is the one you make before any fabric gets cut.
The principle
Why I coordinate, not render.
3D rendering done well is a specialist's craft, and a full-time one. Early on I tried to learn enough Clo3D to do basic passes myself, but it slowed every project down. Now I partner with designers who do this every day, and I focus on what I do best: making sure the technical input is right and the output gets used the way the factory needs it.
