Most founders don't realize fit revisions are their own phase. The work between first sample and approved sample is structured, iterative, and often two to three rounds deep. It's the difference between a product that fits the marketing photo and a product that fits the wearer.
Each round is a tight loop: review, comment sheet, revised tech pack, new sample. Done deliberately, the loop tightens fast. Done reactively, it sprawls. Knowing which feedback to give and which to hold makes every round meaningfully better than the last.

Structured fit reviews (on body, on form, or both). A new comment sheet for each round. Coordinating sample turnarounds with the maker. Revising the tech pack to reflect every change. Tracking which decisions are locked and which are still open across rounds.
Why it matters
Sample rounds are where founders burn time and money quietly. A round that doesn't resolve anything still costs a sample fee and weeks on the calendar. The job is to make every round count — to push the product forward, not sideways.
